Bounty’s Roundup

With such bounty from the farmer’s market, I just had to share some pics + some recipe links.

Peas, broccoli, cauliflower, green romaine, escarole, summer squash, swiss chard, elephant garlic, tatsoi, salad turnips, & parsley- Oh My!

And for some munching!

Lastly, the best summer pasta!

A bounty of color for dinner!

Heat up your favorite pasta, then toss it with organic butter and Parmesan cheese. Saute in olive oil, garlic, and a dash of red pepper flakes any greens (tatsoi, mustard, collard, spinach etc), Swiss chard ribs, onions, and more. Add to your pasta. Top with freshly shelled peas, salad turnips, or anything else that is crunchy. Toss your favorite herbs right in (hello, basil)- and you’ve got a delicious summer pasta!

    I’m glad you were able to get some food at the farmers market. The news has been talking about how the whole nation is in a drought (glad they exaggerated).
