With grateful heart, I seek.

Dear friends,

Sandy has recently rocked this corner of the world. I am a jumble of thoughts and emotions. Grateful for the many that have survived  saddened by the loss of life and shocked by the sheer devastation. As I make it back home, I’m sure more thoughts will arise.

Until then, I leave you with a few words from my last post. These ominous words even stun me.

With all things in life- enjoy them until they are done and they can go.

Today, I just can’t help but think not all were ready to go.

Most importantly, I hope you are all safe. In the coming days, we will better know what is needed to assist in the clean-up efforts. One way to always help is to donate.

The American Red Cross canceled over 100 blood drives due to Sandy, therefore, now faces a shortage. If it’s safe, please consider donating blood. Visit http://www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) for more information.

What do YOU think?
